If you faced the same choice as Stephanie Sarza, what would you do?
Even Field® Honors celebrates character and leadership in school sports by sharing experiences from the playing field that elevate the game and inspire the best in us.
Our goal is to inspire young people to make principled choices on and off the field. Our message is that The Way You Win Matters® because integrity, trust, and mutual respect are essential to quality relationships and moral leadership in sports and life.
Even Field® Honors is in partnership with the Rhode Island Interscholastic League (RIIL). Throughout the academic year, RIIL coaches, administrators, and game officials submit nominations of candidates who demonstrate outstanding Character, Courage, Resilience, and Principled Leadership. Eligible candidates include student-athletes, teams, coaches, administrators, game officials, and others involved in Rhode Island high school and middle school sports.
In late spring, we bring Even Field Honors to the schools of the honorees, where their inspirational stories are presented on video so that everyone can celebrate the admirable qualities that led to the awards.
We thank Stephanie Sarza for sharing her story with us.
