Achieving Your Personal Best

Even Field Programs

Online and in-person, our Peer Into Character® programs present real-life experiences from professional and amateur athletes, coaches, officials, and others that provide insight and perspective on character, perseverance, and leadership.

Our purpose is to inspire young people to make caring, principled choices in sports and life and continually strive to be their best in everything they do.

Even Field believes that The Way You Win Matters® because integrity, trust, and mutual respect are essential to quality relationships and principled leadership.

We also are dedicated to improving the culture of childhood sports. Translating the youth sports experience into purposeful character and life-skill development moves us beyond the winning and losing of athletic competition, to develop a "winning" young adult.

70% of kids quit playing organized sports by age 13.

Even Field provides youth coach training in mentoring, relationship-building, and communication skills. For parents, we provide proven techniques and strategies that promote positive child development and achievement on and off the field. In addition, we are seeking to test our learning-based, development-focused sports program model for children ages 6 through 12 (U-13), which emphasizes team culture, skills mastery, leadership, and character.

“I found Chuck's message to be profound and especially relevant in today's youth sports culture... Having coached at different levels from youth sports through college, I would highly recommend bringing Even Field in to speak with your players, coaches, and parents.”

Even Field® Sports Program Model for Children

Our The Way You Win Matters® initiative for children ages 12-and-under, is a “kid-centric” model that emphasizes age-appropriate physical, mental, and character development, benefitting all participating young athletes. Guiding our project development is Albert J. Petitpas, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on Positive Youth Development (PYD) through sport.

Our purpose is to inspire young people to make caring, principled choices in sports and life and to continually strive to be their best in everything they do.
